Who operates the app

Flawless Studio LLC, a United States company, operates English Idioms. You can use the learning features without creating an account. For privacy questions or requests, contact hi@flawless.studio.

Information handled

• Learning records and preferences. The app stores practice attempts, progress, category choices, the selected explanation language, and other learning preferences on your device. Your device backup settings determine whether a backup includes this information.
• App activity and diagnostics. Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics may process app interactions, app and device information, installation identifiers, crash reports, and related technical details so we can understand use and fix failures.
• Advertising. Google AdMob and its partners may process IP address, approximate location inferred from it, device identifiers, ad views and interactions, and diagnostic information to serve and measure ads. The app requests advertising consent through Google's User Messaging Platform where required. The app does not request iOS tracking permission to access the advertising identifier.
• Purchases. Apple processes payment for the optional one-time Remove Ads purchase. RevenueCat processes purchase history and entitlement information so the app can recognise and restore that purchase. We do not receive full payment-card details.
• Support. If you contact us, we receive the email address and information you send so we can respond.

Why information is used

Local learning data supports progress and settings. Analytics helps us understand how the app is used; diagnostics helps us investigate failures. Advertising supports the free app, and purchase data enables the Remove Ads feature. We use support messages to answer requests. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, these activities may rely on providing the requested service, legitimate interests, legal obligations, or consent as appropriate. Reading this notice does not itself provide consent.

Who processes information

Apple provides app distribution and payments. Google provides Firebase analytics and crash reporting, AdMob advertising, and consent messaging. RevenueCat processes purchase entitlements. These providers may process information in the United States or other countries according to their terms and transfer arrangements. Following an ad or external link takes you to another service with its own privacy practices.

Your choices and rights

In Settings, you can change learning preferences and reset local progress. Where the app shows a Privacy choices option, you can revisit your advertising consent choices. You can also remove ads through the optional purchase. Device settings let you manage app storage and backups. Deleting the app may not remove existing device backups or information already processed by service providers.

Depending on your location and the processing involved, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, to object or restrict processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data protection authority. Email hi@flawless.studio to make a request. We may need information to verify and handle it; we cannot directly retrieve learning records stored only on your device.

English Idioms is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, contact us.

Retention and security

Local learning records remain until you reset them or remove the app, subject to device backup settings. Purchase, analytics, advertising, diagnostic, and support records are kept according to the purposes described here and the providers' retention settings, applicable law, and service requirements. We use device and provider security controls to protect information, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

We may update this notice as the app or its services change. The date above identifies the latest version. Material changes will be communicated as required by law.
